A new epidemic that is popping up is the reselling of prescription drugs. To ensure our communities stay safe I have started a program in Oakland County called Operation Medicine Cabinet. This program allows a safe drop-off location for all unused and expired prescriptions. Since the program began in July 2009, we have collected and destroyed 300 pounds of prescription drugs.
