I would like to wish everyone a very Happy New Year! This is a time to reflect on the past year and also make plans for the future. This very exciting and festive time is always nice to spend with loved ones.
While this holiday is a time for celebration it’s also good to remember that drinking and driving is always the wrong choice. Too many Michigan families experience tragedies because of drunken drivers. Please make sure you have zero tolerance for drinking and driving. If you suspect a friend or family member has had too much to drink, take their keys and make sure they don’t get behind the wheel. One bad choice can ruin many lives. Let’s ring in the New Year incident free.
This year has been a year of many changes. The Bouchard family has had a very busy but blessed year. I look forward to 2010 as it will set the stage for real reform in Lansing.
Our state has seen some very tough times, especially in 2009. Our government almost shut down for the second time in three years. Frankly, the hard-working taxpayers of this state deserve better from their elected leaders in Lansing.
My message for fixing Lansing has been resonating across the state and I am very excited to share my vision with more of you.
I look forward to seeing all of you on the campaign trail in 2010!
Mike

Happy New Year to you and your family as well Mike!
Also, I hope everyone really heeds Sheriff Bouchard’s advice. Have a fun night, but please don’t do anything dumb. Don’t drive drunk. It could make for a very unpleasant 2010 for an innocent family.
God Bless everyone abundantly in 2010!
Tony
