Outdoorama

I had a great time at the annual Outdoorama event this past weekend. Swapping stories and discussing issues with so many sportsmen and women at the Rock Financial Showplace was a real treat.

It was also a good reminder about the need to preserve and protect our rights, whether it is hunting and fishing or those guaranteed by the Second Amendment. We can’t take these rights for granted. Rest assured that as Michigan’s next governor, I will be a staunch advocate for sportsmen and women. As an avid hunter, I have instilled this love of Michigan’s outdoor heritage in my children. To this day, all three of my kids enjoy hunting, as do thousands of other Michiganders.

I’m pleased to report that so many folks attending Outdoorama were excited to sign my petitions, which allows my name to appear on the Aug. 3 primary ballot. Thanks to all who signed or circulated these petitions. Your support means a lot to me. We still welcome volunteers who want to circulate petitions in other areas as well, so let us know if you can help.

I hope you’ll join my fight to protect our outdoor heritage, as well as to fix Lansing and get Michigan back to work. See you in the great outdoors!

Mike
