Bouchard energizes grass-roots supporters

Weekly Update from Mike Bouchard

Thanks to everyone for helping make my “Freedom from Taxes Tour” a success! We’ve been getting incredible feedback from people across Michigan. It has been great seeing so many of you at each of the stops. My call for tax relief and an economic climate that encourages job creation is really hitting home. As governor, I will issue executive orders, push for legislation and champion constitutional amendments to make the reforms necessary to put our state back on the right track.

As we count down to the Aug. 3 primary, I’m encouraging everyone who cares about Michigan’s future to join with me in my campaign to put our state back on the right track. Please volunteer your time or make a contribution to help me spread the word about my blueprint to fix Lansing and get Michigan back to work.

Petition Signatures

We have had a tremendous team of volunteers collecting signatures around the state. If you have any petition signatures that still need to be turned in please call my campaign office at 248-647-2010. Thank you for all of your hard work and dedication!

Bouchard: Keep Lansing out of taxpayers’ pockets
As governor, he will lead the fight to lower taxes, create jobs

Tax Day is a reminder of the burden shouldered by Michigan ’s hard-working families and businesses. As governor, taxpayers will have no doubt that I will stretch their money further by cutting spending, right-sizing government and opposing tax hikes. Raising taxes will not fix our problems.

Just as Michigan families are cutting back and spending smarter, government at all levels must tighten its belt as well. I will rein in irresponsible spending and position our state for success by creating a business climate that encourages job growth and investment.
