Update from Mike Bouchard May 7, 2010
We’ve had another terrific week that included several key public appearances and the opportunity to meet enthusiastic new supporters. While I’m pleased with our success, I’m even more proud that it reflects a total team effort. It’s dedicated people like you who are laying the groundwork to victory in August. But, we still have a tough fight ahead of us. Remember that we need your time and contributions now and in the coming weeks. If you can volunteer any time or make a donation you will be doing your part to chart a new course for Michigan. I would also like to take a moment to remember our favorite member of the Tiger baseball team, Ernie Harwell. A friend to all and a gentle soul, he is now in God’s embrace. Thank you Ernie for the life of memories you gave to us all. God bless you!
National Prayer Day
In observance of National Prayer Day, I encouraged everyone to exercise his or her First Amendment rights. The Bill of Rights says we have `freedom of religion’ not `freedom from religion.’ We need to exercise our rights given to us by our Founding Fathers. National Prayer Day is a reminder of the freedoms we must fight to protect and an opportune time to reaffirm our commitment to the Constitution.
Campaign Headquarters Grand Opening!
I am pleased to invite you to the grand opening of my Oakland County campaign office on Sunday, May 16. I have already opened my Grand Rapids office and I am very excited to have offices located on both sides of the state. This is just the start of many office openings throughout Michigan for Team Bouchard. My family and I will be at the new headquarters at 2:00 p.m. located at 35975 Woodward Ave., Birmingham, 48009. Feel free to bring your friends and family. I hope to see you there!
