Mike Bouchard launches his “Get Michigan Back to Work” tour
The Bouchard Team will make a record amount of stops in the final 8 days
Oakland County – Mike Bouchard, Republican candidate for governor, today launched his “Get Michigan Back to Work” tour in Grand Rapids, which will make 80 stops in 8 days. Bouchard’s running mate Secretary of State Terri Lynn Land will also embark on a separate route for the “Get Michigan Back to Work” tour crisscrossing the state to ensure the Bouchard Team makes double impact while reaching voters.
“I got into this race for one reason. I want the problems in our state fixed so my children can raise their families in Michigan and find good-paying job opportunities after they graduate,” said Bouchard. “I will spend the next 8 days talking to voters from all across our great state and share my vision to fix Lansing and get Michigan back to work. We must make real systemic changes in how our state government functions and fix the problems in Lansing so we can keep our kids here in Michigan.”
The “Get Michigan Back to Work” tour will be a family affair as Mike Bouchard travels the state with his daughter Mikayla while his wife Pam and their youngest son will join Secretary Land for her leg of the tour. Bouchard’s decisive stand on making Michigan a Right to Work state and internal polling numbers showing him tied for the lead has fueled his momentum leading into the last eight days.
“I am very excited to travel the state with Pam and speak with voters on why Mike Bouchard is the right man for to fix Lansing and get Michigan back to work,” said Secretary Land. “Mike has the experience, knowledge and leadership skills necessary to lead Michigan out of its current economic conditions. On Day One, Mike will immediately address the issues facing Michigan. He not only knows what to do but how to do it. We don’t need another governor with training wheels.”
