Bouchard Close 1st with 4 Days to Victory-Your Help is Critical

As we near 96 hours until polls open I wanted to give you a brief update and ask for your help one last time in this primary election.

Our tracking polls have us continuing to bear out earlier internal polling and we go into the last 4 days in a close first. We have been trending up for a couple of weeks now and currently are polling at 27.2 percent statewide. This puts us in the lead, but the only poll we are focusing on is the one voters will go to in 4 days.

All estimates are that voter turnout is going to be very low, so every vote is going to be very important. It’s our assumption that the winner of this election will win it with around 30 percent of the vote, so this race will come down to whose supporters are more motivated.

We know the “Bouchard Posse” is incredibly motivated and things couldn’t be more primed for a Bouchard Victory on Tuesday, but we can only do it with your help.

We’ve implemented a strategy that has taken a lot of effort by many people and the momentum is showing every day. From the beginning of this race our plan has been to build our grassroots base, raise the needed financial resources and then execute a very aggressive full court press for the hearts, minds and votes of the people in Michigan.

It’s working. On the grassroots level we have made over 150,000 volunteer calls this month, knocked on over 25,000 doors and we are just getting started as we head into the 4 most important days of the race.

If you couple that with the major endorsements of Joe the Plumber, Sherriff Joe Arpaio, Ted Nugent and a vast array of business, community and tea party leaders we have a great groundswell in the field.

When it comes to our paid media and messaging, we’ve far outpaced our opponents in the closing weeks of the campaign and this will show on Election Day. In the last 21 days of this race we will spend over 1 million dollars on TV statewide; this is a 3-1 advantage over any of our opponents. We believe that the strength of our message and the content of it will put us in the best position when the polls close.

But all of this does not matter if you, your family and friends don’t get out and vote on Tuesday. So I would ask on behalf of the campaign and the Sheriff that you help this finial push to make history by doing 3 things:

1) Make sure to vote and get your family to vote

2) Come into our office and make some phone calls or spend a few hours knocking doors

3) Donations are still key and your contribution of $25, $50 or even $100 will go a long way toward helping us fund our last voter contact efforts.

Thank you for your support and prayers. Now is the time for us to stand up and tell Lansing that it’s time for a new Sheriff in town.
