Women for Mike Bouchard campaign across Michigan
Terri Lynn Land, Pam Bouchard tout Bouchard for governor for Aug. 3 vote
Oakland County - As Republican candidate for governor Mike Bouchard made his final get-out-the-vote push across Michigan, the Women for Bouchard tour likewise crisscrossed the state.
The Women for Bouchard tour, made up of Secretary of State Terri Lynn Land and Pam Bouchard, Mike Bouchard’s wife, visited communities throughout the state, including visits to Big Rapids, Charlevoix, Petoskey, Gaylord, the Upper Peninsula, Mackinaw City, St. Joseph, Holland, Owosso and the Saginaw County Fair. The pair toured the state on a 28-foot-long RV emblazoned with a Mike Bouchard for Governor banner.
“Michigan is in a jobs crisis,” Land said. “Our next governor doesn’t have time for training wheels. On Day One, he will have to make the tough decisions to fix Lansing and put Michigan back to work. That’s what Mike Bouchard will do as governor, and that’s why I’m proud to support him. Please vote for Mike Bouchard for governor on Aug. 3.”
The pair will join up with Mike Bouchard with visits throughout metro Detroit and a get-out-the-vote rally at Brother Rice High School in Bloomfield Hills.
“We need a governor who will focus on the next generation and not the next election,” Pam Bouchard said. “Mike and I have three children who will soon be starting out on their own. Like many parents across Michigan, we worry about whether our kids will have to move out of state to find work. Mike will change that. He was part of the team with Gov. Engler that reformed our state in 1990s, and he has the know-how to put Michigan back on the right path again.”
